Nice overall experience. Comfortable and incredibly beautiful hotel in a good position in a common area that had comfortable seating by a fireplace with large windows to take advantage of the view. Location just off Laguna Beach. A great selection of appetising food.

Also - close to the spectacular cliffs above Dana Point Harbor, and Dana Point Harbor n Doheny State Park. Fairly quiet rooms, decent views of the harbor.

The hotel was beautiful and the view was spectacular. There was a OK breakfast in a beautiful setting. Nice touches such as wine and cheese every evening. And cookies cooking every afternoon.

Our balconey was on the side near a restaurant which hosted a wedding one night and party another. They were loud and we could even hear through closed door.

The hotel has luxurious and well laid out rooms with a gorgeous view, fireplace, modern decoration. The staff are fairly friendly and outstandingly accommodating, offer excellent services.

The Blue Lantern Inn exceeded our expectations! The breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean from our room was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, offering a complimentary blue ice pack and cloth when I got overheated. The breakfast spread was delicious, with mouth-watering options like rosemary hash browns and raspberry muffins. We also enjoyed the free loaner of beach chairs, towels, and bikes, perfect for exploring the area. The early evening wine and cheese reception was a lovely touch. it felt like a wonderful home away from home.

Felt like VIP guests, nothing to complain about.

Quiet and luxurious rooms with fantastic views as well as soaking tubs, delicious breakfast. Fairly friendly staff and marvellous location adjacent to bars/restaurants there in the evening and Doheny State Park and Los Angeles. Also, right on a cliff for spectacular views.

My stay was delightful that totally ruined our vacation. The room was absolutely gorgeous and had private bathroom plus coffee/tea making machines, a fridge and glassware. Also, location was great, just a short walk away from Ocean Institute.
